The NIAID Division of Intramural Research is seeking a postdoctoral applicant to work in the Food Allergy Research Unit of the Laboratory of Allergic Diseases. We are a translational research group that includes clinicians and basic scientists focused on understanding the immunologic, genetic, microbial, and cellular basis of food allergy and tolerance in the gastrointestinal tract. Using both human samples and murine models, our goal is to better define disease mechanisms, identify suitable therapeutic targets, and test potential therapies in mouse models and patients.
