Comments Due March 2 on AHRQ Draft Report on Engaging Families in Treating Chronic Conditions
A review of evidence on strategies to engage patients and families in managing a chronic condition found that most evidence is related to self-management strategies, according to a new draft technical brief from AHRQ. Among these strategies, most evidence points to group-based educational programs to promote self-management, web-based interventions for cancer survivors, and promising telehealth interventions. The draft report, Strategies for Patient, Family, and Caregiver Engagement, is available for review and comment through March 2.
