The Amazon, JP Morgan, and Berkshire Hathaway venture Haven was dealt another blow yesterday with the departure of its chief technology officer, Serkan Kutan — leaving the company's C-suite virtually empty. It's the latest in a series of high-profile losses for Haven, which has struggled to get off the ground since its founding more than two years ago. And with this exit, Haven's goal of reimagining health care seems to be in jeopardy. “If I were Amazon, Berkshire Hathaway, and JP Morgan, I would figure out how to unravel this and maybe create an alliance but not a company,” health care management expert Howard Forman tells STAT's Casey Ross. “They’re certainly not able to manage this.” STAT Plus subscribers can read more here
