CAHPS Child Hospital Survey Database: Mar. 10 – Apr. 11: Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems Child Hospital Survey Data Submission

CAHPS Child Hospital Survey Database: The CAHPS Child Hospital Survey (Child HCAHPS) Database is a central repository of survey data from hospitals that have administered the Child HCAHPS survey and chose to submit their data to the Database. Mar. 10 – Apr. 11: Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems Child Hospital Survey Data Submission Voluntary data submission to AHRQ’s Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®) Child Hospital Survey (Child HCAHPS) Database will be open Mar. 10 – Apr. 11, 2025. The CAHPS Database will accept all survey data collected between Jan. – Dec. 2024. Participation is free and will facilitate comparisons of Child HCAHPS survey results by children’s hospitals and inpatient pediatric departments that administer this survey of patient care experience. Participating hospitals will receive a private feedback report comparing their results to aggregated, de-identified results from all database participants for improvement purposes. New to this year, the Child HCAHPS Database will accept data from hospitals using shortened versions of the Child HCAHPS survey on a case-by-case basis.
