Announced this week, the initiative is being led by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) in partnership with NHS England and London’s Health Innovation Networks (HINs). The sandbox will provide a controlled testing environment in which selected companies can deploy AI-enabled medical devices alongside clinicians across London, while working closely with regulators to generate robust real-world evidence.
