New CAHPS® Database Reports Now Available

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality’s (AHRQ’s) CAHPS Database has new reports available for the following surveys:
  • CAHPS Health Plan Survey: 2013 and 2011 results for the Medicaid, Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and Medicare sectors.
  • CAHPS Clinician & Group Survey (CG-CAHPS): 2012 results for the Adult and Child versions of the Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Survey, the Visit Survey and the 12-Month Survey.
These free reports are based on CAHPS survey results that were voluntarily submitted by health plans, physician practices, and other organizations that sponsor CAHPS surveys.
The Online Reporting System—a Web-based platform for viewing summary-level results of CAHPS surveys—allows users to view top box scores, frequency distributions, bar charts, and percentiles for these surveys. Users can also use a Report Builder feature to create customized downloadable reports.

Chartbooks present highlights of survey results in narrative summaries and bar charts. These documents are available as PDFs for easy downloading.
  • CAHPS Health Plan Survey Database 2013 Chartbook (PDF/HTML, 796 KB )
  • CAHPS Clinician & Group Survey Database 2012 Chartbook (PDF/HTML, 1,667 KB)
