NTP Train-the-Trainer Workshops

It’s that time again! The CMS National Training Program hosts regional workshops for CMS partners and stakeholders who help people make informed health care decisions, and trainers who train others about the Medicare Programs.

PORTSMOUTH, NH: September 6-7, 2017

We will cover high-level and specific information on key aspects of the Medicare Program, a "Current Topics" session to raise awareness of program changes and innovations, interactive casework exercises/activities, and networking opportunities with CMS staff members and other partners who share your commitment.

NOTE: Registration requests will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis until each meeting reaches capacity. The number of attendees from the same organization may be limited. Please send all correspondence to: CMS@seiservices.com.

CMS Fraud Prevention Initiative

CMS is readying a fraud prevention initiative that will remove Social Security numbers from Medicare cards to help combat identity theft and safeguard taxpayer dollars. CMS will begin mailing new Medicare cards in April 2018 and complete this mailing by April 2019. To help you find information quickly, we’ve designed a new page at CMS.gov/newcard with all the latest updates. Visit us and bookmark the page so you can get the newest details as they are released. And check out the messaging guidelines to find out how we’ll be talking to people with Medicare about this change. There’s also an area just for partners and employers which includes a new Medicare card overview PowerPoint.
