New Medicaid and School-Based Health Services Affinity Group

Expression of Interest forms due August 23 

Beginning in September 2017, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicaid Prevention Learning Network will offer a new affinity group to state Medicaid agencies on Medicaid and school-based health services delivery.  The affinity group will explore ways to partner with schools to improve health outcomes, using the Child Quality Measures Core Set to evaluate progress.  The 12-month group will provide expert-moderated webinars on a broad range of topics based on the needs of participating states, one-on-one consultation with states, and peer-to-peer learning.

If your Medicaid agency is interested in joining the Medicaid and School-Based Health Services Delivery Affinity Group, please send your completed Expression of Interest (EOI) form to MedicaidCHIPPrevention@cms.hhs.gov. EOIs are due by August 23, 2017.  The fact sheet can be found on Medicaid.gov here and EOI can be found on Medicaid.gov here.
