Impact of high-reliability education on adverse event reporting by registered nurses.

Health care providers underreport patient safety events. In a single hospital, a 4-hour training on high reliability and just culture for registered nurses did not lead them to report more adverse events. A past PSNet perspective explored how to enhance incident reporting systems.
