Former Theranos execs may be in more trouble
The list of grievances against Theranos's erstwhile CEO is reportedly more grievous than previously thought: The government’s criminal fraud case against Elizabeth Holmes and former deputy Sunny Balwani includes a number of undisclosed “charges and activities,” prosecutors say, according to Bloomberg.
“This story is bigger than what’s captured in the indictment,” prosecutor John C. Bostic told the judge overseeing the case. The feds are combing through more than 200,000 pages of company information to prepare for trial — including contracts with dozens of organizations like Pfizer, Merck, and Johns Hopkins.
Fodder, mayhap, for a Bad Blood 2?
