American Medical Informatics Association Practice Analysis Survey Open Until November 30
The American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) is seeking input from health informatics professionals on its first-ever Health Informatics Practice Analysis Surveyto help validate the tasks performed by and knowledge needed by professionals in the field. The survey is open until November 30, and results will help AMIA with the following objectives:
- Expand understanding of the value health informaticians bring to their organizations
- Provide guidance on the knowledge needed at different health informatics career stages
- Inform future job descriptions
The survey is intended for health informatics professionals from all health domains, career stages, and practice settings, including individuals who practice clinical informatics (e.g., dental, nursing, pharmacy), consumer health informatics or public health informatics.
