California is swarming with digital health startups — and collectively they raised more than $3.5 billion in venture funding last year, spread across 140 deals. That's according to a new analysis from the digital health venture firm Rock Health. When you compare America's metro areas, investors poured by far the most money into companies in the Bay Area. But the Seattle metro area is also building up a cluster; startups there raised nearly $129 million last year, spread across seven deals.
