New Quality Payment Program Resource on Qualifying APM Participant (QP) Methodology in 2019

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has released a new 2019 Qualifying Alternative Payment Model Participants (QPs) Methodology Fact Sheet for the 2019 performance year. This release is specific to participants in Alternative Payments Models (APMs), MIPS APMs, and Advanced APMs. This fact sheet details how we determine which eligible clinicians are QPs and make predictive QP determinations, based on their participation in Advanced Alternative Payment Models. Alongside the QP Methodology Fact Sheet, CMS has released the predictive APM data that helps clinicians understand their predictive status based on data from January 1, 2018 through August 31, 2018.
