eMDM PROD Provider Data Products Issue Notification

This notification is to inform MDM Stakeholders of an issue identified in the Master Data Management (MDM) Provider domain. The population of the Medicare provider enrollment role association table, which captures the relationship of an associate to an enrollment, was changed to store the physician assistant enrollment association to an employer enrollment in a new set of tables introduced in PECOS Release R 7.35.0 in Jan of 2019. 

 The following MDM products still show Physician Assistant data. The records for role code 13 (physician assistant) in the following products is stale as of Jan 2019, however data for other role codes is current.

1.      MDM Comprehensive PMI/SPP Extract - P#MDD.FULL.PDM.ERA.Dyymmdd.Thhmmsst

2.      IDR MDM ADM Table - SPP Health Care Provider Enrollment Role Association - MDD_SPP_PRVDR_ENRLMT_ROLE_ASCTN

The MDM Team is discussing next steps and will let the consumers of the MDM PMI/SPP data products know when we are planning to make a fix and what changes will impact users.
