The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force seeks comments on a draft recommendation statement and draft evidence review on behavioral counseling interventions to promote a healthy diet and physical activity for cardiovascular disease prevention in adults with cardiovascular risk factors. The Task Force recommends counseling for cardiovascular disease prevention in adults who have at least one risk factor for heart disease or stroke. The draft recommendation statement and draft evidence review are available for review and public comment from May 12, 2020 to June 8, 2020 here.
