Register for a webinar on September 30 from 12-1:00 p.m. ET, about Safer Together: A National Action Plan to Advance Patient Safety. The plan brings together the knowledge and insights of the 27 members of the National Steering Committee for Patient Safety to provide clear direction to healthcare leaders, delivery organizations and associations on how to advance safer care across the continuum. This session, co-produced by the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, will feature Jeffrey Brady, M.D., who is director of AHRQ’s Center for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety and co-chair of the national steering committee. Speakers will highlight four foundational focus areas outlined in the report—culture, leadership and governance; patient and family engagement; workforce safety; and learning systems— focusing on the critical role of leaders in each of these domains.
