Medical Care for Adults with Down Syndrome

Medical Care for Adults with Down Syndrome: This systematic review assessed the benefits and harms of screening/diagnostic interventions and treatments for co-occurring medical conditions in adults with Down syndrome. Funded by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute® (PCORI®), the review will be used by GLOBAL to update their 2020 guidelines. This review included the nine clinical areas previously examined and expand to include additional clinical areas sleep apnea, solid tumors, blood cancers/leukemias, musculoskeletal conditions, and vision to incorporate emerging evidence.
