A sixth-year student in the MD-PhD program at UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester, Massachusetts, Narváez Ramos will help determine who will get one of the coveted spots in next year’s class. Last year, there were more than 8000 applications for some 225 slots in the MD-PhD and MD programs.
