HIE Governance Town Hall National eHealth Collaborative (NeHC) is a cooperative agreement partner of The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC). January 17, 2013, 12:00 - 1:30 PM ET Join Dr Farzad Mostashari and senior staff at ONC for an open listening session on governance of health information exchange. This town hall will provide an opportunity for a wide range of stakeholders to describe their experience, practices, issues, priorities, and suggestions regarding HIE governance initiatives. Stakeholder input from this listening session will inform ONC activities and assist in advancing governance goals of nationwide health information exchange: increase interoperability, decrease the cost and complexity of exchange, and increase trust among participants to mobilize trusted exchange to support patient care.
