AHRQ Stats: Children With ADHD

The percentage of children ages 5 to 12 diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) increased from 8.5 percent to 10.4 percent between 2008 and 2015. Meanwhile, the rate of ADHD remained stable at 13 percent for children ages 13 to 17.
