Joint Commission Pioneers in Quality eCQM Expert to Expert Webinar Series: STK-5 and AMI-8a eCQMs

The Joint Commission and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) are committed to supporting hospitals on their journey towards electronic clinical quality measure (eCQM) adoption and transition to the new Clinical Quality Language (CQL) logic expression language for the 2019 eCQM reporting period. The January 29 session will address STK-5 and AMI-8a eCQMs and will include a review of measure logic, common issues, and a question and answer session. At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
  1. Apply concepts learned about the new Clinical Quality Language (CQL) expression language for the STK-5, and AMI-8a eCQMs
  2. Identify common issues and questions regarding STK-5, and AMI-8a eCQMs and
  3. Prepare to implement the CQL expression language for the 2019 eCQM reporting year (2020 data submission).

NOTE: The live webinar session is limited to the first 1000 participants; however, there is no registration limit. For the live session, participants are joined on a "first-come, first-served" basis and after 1000 lines are used, additional participants cannot join the webinar component of the session but can still dial in to hear the presentations. To maximize participation and increase the likelihood of full participation (audio and visual), we encourage you to connect multiple staff within a meeting room & use a single conference line.
If you are unable to participate, a recording and slides will be posted on The Joint Commission and the eCQI Resource Center websites within several weeks of the program. This webinar is approved for 1.0 Continuing Education Credit from: ACCME, ANCC, ACHE, California Board of Registered Nursing, IACET. CE/CME/CEU Credits available for live audio only; credits not offered for webinar replays. To claim credit, you must have:
  1. Individually registered for the webinar.
  2. Listened to the webinar in its entirety. Only those listening live during the session will be eligible to receive credit.
  3. Completed a post-program evaluation/attestation. The post-program evaluation/attestation link will be sent to your registered email after the webinar. Printable certificates will be sent via email 2 weeks after the session. All participants will receive their CE certificate at the same time.
