Uterine Cancer Incidence and Mortality — United States, 1999–2016
CDC’s MMWR and Medscape are proud to introduce a new FREE continuing education (CE) activity. This activity describes recent changes in US rates of uterine cancer cases and deaths, according to a CDC surveillance report.
Uterine cancer is the 4th most diagnosed cancer in the U.S. and the 7th deadliest type of cancer for women. Know the warning signs and symptoms to protect yourself and your loved ones and earn FREE CE with this continuing education training from CDC’s MMWR and Medscape.
This activity is intended for hematologists/oncologists, family medicine practitioners, internists, obstetricians/gynecologists, nurses, pharmacists, public health officials, and other clinicians caring for patients with or at risk for uterine cancer.
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to
  1. describe changes in US rates of uterine cancer cases during 1999-2015 and deaths during 1999-2016, according to a CDC surveillance report,
  2. determine factors associated with increases in the US rate of uterine cancer cases during 1999-2015, according to a CDC surveillance report, and
  3. explain clinical and public health implications of changes in the US rate of uterine cancer cases during 1999-2015, according to a CDC surveillance report.
