Review and Dispute Activities Happening Now
This is a reminder that covered recipients are currently reviewing Program Year 2018 data. Please be mindful of disputes initiated within the review and dispute period (April 1, 2019 – May 15, 2019).
Disputes may be resolved at any point during the review and dispute period. It is expected that disputes will be resolved in good faith by the May 30th deadline. Payment records with disputes that remain unresolved after May 30th will be published as disputed. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) does not mediate disputes. It is important that applicable manufacturers and GPOs work directly with the physician or teaching hospital to resolve any disputes.
