Improving Diagnosis in Primary Care Webcast Features AHRQ Grantee
A recent Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) webcast during Patient Safety Awareness Week, “Improving Diagnosis in Primary Care”, featured AHRQ grantee Gordon Schiff, M.D. Dr. Schiff, Quality and Safety Director for the Harvard Medical School Center for Primary Care, is a leading expert in diagnostics and malpractice prevention and discussed the need for doctors and patients to have a more open relationship. Dr. Schiff was one of the lead investigators for the AHRQ Developmental Center for Patient Safety Research, which focused on diagnostic errors. Access the webcast replay here.
