Source: Consortium for Resilient Gulf Communities (CRGC). Published: 5/2019. This database is a searchable literature review, in spreadsheet format, on the health impacts of oil spills. The objective of the review, first published in 2016 and updated in May 2019, is to identify both what was already known about the effects of oil spills, and gaps in the knowledge. The spreadsheet features a drop-down menu in each column so that users can narrow their searches. (Text)

Source: Government of Ireland. Published: 3/2019. Three government departments in Northern Ireland worked together to develop this five-year action plan to fight antimicrobial resistance. The 16-page document details actions for Reducing Need for Antimicrobials and Unintentional Exposure; Optimizing Use of Antimicrobials; and Investing in Innovation, Supply, and Access to Tackle Antimicrobial Resistance. It proposes four areas for concerted action: investment in preventing children from being put at risk; upholding of international laws and standards; intensified action to hold violators to account; and an increased effort to rebuild the lives of children shattered by conflict. It provides recommendations that states and non-state actors can act on to ensure that children are protected. (PDF)
