The World Health Organization and UNICEF, working with the Global Task Team for monitoring water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) in health care facilities (HCF), have developed a set of core questions and indicators for WASH in HCF, in support of monitoring WASH in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Ensuring effective and equitable impact on AMR requires an understanding and acknowledgement of how men and women, and different groups in society, may be differently at risk of or impacted by AMR and the efforts to address it.
