The World Health Organization and UNICEF, working with the Global Task Team for monitoring water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) in health care facilities (HCF), have developed a set of core questions and indicators for WASH in HCF, in support of monitoring WASH in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The indicators detailed in this 28-page document include definitions for basic water, sanitation, hand hygiene, health care waste management, and environmental cleaning services. (PDF)

This 23-page document aims to assist countries to take the first step toward better considering gender and equity issues in their efforts to tackle antimicrobial resistance (AMR), inform the implementation of strategies in national action plans, and contribute to improved reach and effectiveness of AMR efforts in the longer term. Ensuring effective and equitable impact on AMR requires an understanding and acknowledgement of how men and women, and different groups in society, may be differently at risk of or impacted by AMR and the efforts to address it.
