Reporting Entities: Open Payments Data Correction Continues through May 30th

The Open Payments additional 15-day data correction period begins today, May 16, 2019 and closes on May 30, 2019. This period is dedicated for the resolution of outstanding disputes initiated by physicians, teaching hospitals and principal investigators.

It is expected that disputes will be resolved in good faith prior to the May 30th deadline. Payment records with disputes that remain unresolved after May 30th will be published as disputed.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) does not mediate disputes. It is important to work directly with the physician or teaching hospital to resolve any disputes.
