Reminder for People in the Qualified Medicare Beneficiary Program

If you’re one of the 7.5 million people in the Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB) Program, doctors aren’t allowed to bill you for services and things that Medicare covers. This includes deductibles, coinsurance, and copayments. If you get a bill, tell your provider or the debt collector that you’re in the QMB Program and can’t be charged for Medicare deductibles, coinsurance, and copayments. For more information, call
