Join the Livestream from the 3rd Annual Meeting of the European Sepsis Alliance Tomorrow

Dear Friends, Colleagues, and Supporters,
Welcome to World Sepsis Day News - ESA Special Edition.

The dramatic spread of SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 across the world, as well as the new and staggering data revealed by the Global Burden of Disease Sepsis Study published in The Lancet this January, have prompted the European Sepsis Alliance to hold its 3rd Annual Meeting in an innovative free online format, making this important knowledge freely and openly accessible to everyone.

Over the course of about 3 hours, we will hear presentations – including on how COVID-19 relates to sepsis – from sepsis survivors, representatives from the European Commission and WHO, patient safety advocates, sepsis researchers, clinicians, and more.

Additionally, we will have two panel debates, one on the state of national sepsis plans, and one on how to build support for survivors and families.

The free livestream starts tomorrow, Monday, March 23rd, at 13:00 Central European Time on the website of the European Sepsis Alliance, including the ability to ask live questions to the speakers and panelists.
