Exclusive: Trump says coronavirus cases in US could peak 'around Easter,' slams 'sick puppy' Pelosi, Biden

In an exclusive interview on “Fox & Friends” on Monday, President Trump said the coronavirus cases in the U.S. could peak “around Easter” and suggested millions of lives could be saved by the administration’s decision to extend strict social distancing guidelines through the end of April. He also fired back at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden over their frequent criticism of his response to the pandemic.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is going into self-quarantine after an aide tested positive for the coronavirus, his office confirmed to Fox News on Monday. 

The USNS Comfort arrived early Monday to the front lines of the coronavirus fight in the United States: New York City. The Navy hospital ship, which contains 1,000 beds, a dozen operating rooms, a medical laboratory, a pharmacy and more, had departed from Virginia over the weekend.

Meanwhile, a field hospital is being erected in New York City’s Central Park to help meet the demand for extra hospital beds during the coronavirus outbreak. It is expected to be up and running by Tuesday. 

While Chinese officials have been saying that its coronavirus death rates are decreasing in the city of Wuhan, residents contend the numbers don't add up. And biotech developer Gilead Sciences is expanding access to its antiviral drug remdesivir as an experimental treatment for coronavirus.
