ACL’s COVID-19 Resources: What’s new
Here's what's new on our COVID-19 resource page:
Face coverings to slow the spread: We've added new guidance from CDC on wearing cloth face-coverings in areas where social distancing may be difficult. The CDC offers suggestions on creating your own face covering at home, including a video from U.S Surgeon General VADM Jerome Adams demonstrating how to use a shirt and some rubber bands to create a face covering in less than a minute.
Webinars: We're also growing our new webinars section with three new webinars that are coming up this week:
- Tuesday 4/7, 2pm ET: Caregiving and COVID-19 hosted by the University of Pittsburgh’s National Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Family Support.
- Wednesday 4/8, 1pm ET: Protecting Your Mental Health during the Coronavirus Outbreak hosted by the Southeast ADA Center
- Thursday, 4/9, 2pm ET: COVID-19 and the Americans with Disabilities Act hosted by the Great Lakes ADA Center
