The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force seeks comments on a draft recommendation statement and draft evidence review on screening for hearing loss in older adults. The Task Force determined that more research is needed to make a recommendation for or against screening for hearing loss in adults age 50 or older before they recognize symptoms.
