Learn about models to improve communication between patients and clinicians at a free Webinar on Tuesday, December 18, from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. EST. This Webinar will help you identify ways in which health information technology (IT) can be used to support the delivery of patient-centered care by promoting more effective communication within the clinical encounter. Presenters will talk about projects that address communication interventions intended to increase preventive care, cancer survivorship planning, and appropriate medication management. The expert panel includes:
- Elizabeth Hahn, M.A., Boston University
- William Adams, M.D., Northwestern University
- Michael Wolf Ph.D., M.P.H., Northwestern University
Participants can earn 1.5 CME/CNE hours for their participation if they attend the entire Web conference and complete an online evaluation.
