Special Open Door Forum:

Home Health Value-Based Purchasing (HHVBP) Model

Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will host a Special Open Door Forum to discuss Medicare-certified home health agencies (HHAs) in Arizona, Florida, Iowa, Massachusetts, Maryland, Nebraska, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Washington who are included in the HHVBP Model.

The HHAs in these nine selected states are encouraged to take the following steps:

1. Attend the Special Open Door Forum on December 17, 2015 at 2:00 pm ET which will include an overview of the HHVBP Model and instructions for gaining access to the Secure Data Portal

Only the HHAs in the nine selected states are required to attend.  Other stakeholders are welcome to join. 

2. Upon completion of the Special ODF, establish your agency’s HHVBP Primary Point of Contact

Only the HHAs in the nine selected states should provide the HHVBP Help Desk,HHVBPquestions@cms.hhs.gov, with the name and email address of a primary point of contact for each CMS Certification Number (CCN). Please include the Agency’s name, address, phone number and CCN. 

3. Next Obtain a User Account on the CMS Enterprise Portal

Each HHA’s primary point of contact (PPOC) should obtain a user account on the CMS Enterprise Portalwebsite.  This is an important first step towards registration for the HHVBP Secure Data Portal where HHAs will receive performance and payment adjustment reports and enter data for New Measures.  Once registration is complete the PPOC should send their EIDM User ID to the HHVBP Help Desk,HHVBPquestions@cms.hhs.gov.
