Dear Colleague,
The one-week window FOR LATE BREAKER ABSTRACTS will be open for abstracts that contain data unavailable prior to July 1, the original abstract submission deadline. All late-breaker abstracts must be submitted online between September 15 and September 22. Only abstracts containing new, cutting-edge information will be considered.
Applications for the Hackathon to be held in conjunction with IMED 2016 are now open. This event will bring together multidisciplinary teams to develop practice-oriented solutions to detect, predict, and prevent the next outbreak at the intersections of climate change, migration, technology, medicine and the social economy. Prototype projects from the Hackathon will be presented during IMED 2016.
IMED 2016 will be a valuable opportunity to meet your colleagues and participate in an important meeting to see presentations of new knowledge and breakthroughs and discuss how to discover, detect, understand, prevent and respond to outbreaks of emerging pathogens. Full Program details are now available at http://imed.isid.org/symposia.shtml.
You can contact: info@isid.org if you have any questions about IMED 2016.
I look forward to seeing you in Vienna!
Regards,
