Webinar About Sharing Data: Modern Legal Issues and Trends. This webinar, co-hosted by CDC’s Public Health Law Program (PHLP) and the American Health Lawyers Association, will address privacy concerns and issues related to complex data sharing agreements. The webinar, the third in a series about data sharing, will take place on Wednesday, August 9, 2017, from 1:00 to 2:30 pm (EDT).

Webinar About Legal Epidemiology: A Tool for Addressing Health in All Policies. Co-hosted by PHLP and the National Environmental Health Association, this webinar will demonstrate how legal epidemiology can be used as a tool to track the growth of Health in All Policies (HiAP) laws, policies, and programs across the country and identify current trends in HiAP implementation. The webinar will offer a primer on the HiAP approach as a strategy for addressing complex factors that influence health and equity. The webinar will take place Thursday, August 17, 2017, from 1:00 to 2:30 pm (EDT).

When It’s Time To Leave: Summary of California Mass Evacuation Laws. This issue brief, published by PHLP, examines how statutes and regulations in California play a vital role in ensuring that response personnel have the necessary authority to carry out effective and efficient evacuations from threatened areas.
