Open Payments Registration is Available
The Open Payments system is now available for registration! In order to participate in Open Payments program actions such as review and dispute, physicians and teaching hospitals must be registered in the Open Payments system. If physicians and teaching hospitals registered last year, they do not need to register again.
Note: If it has been over 180 days since a physician or teaching hospital has logged onto the Enterprise Identity Management System (EIDM), the account has been deactivated for security purposes. If an account must be reactivated, physicians and teaching hospitals should contact the Help Desk (see contact information below). Beginning today, the Help Desk has extended hours from 8:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. (ET).
The review and dispute period is targeted to begin in April 2019. Program information and resources are located at: https://www.cms.gov/ OpenPayments/About/Resources. html.
