Registration opens April 10th for the 2019 Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project (HCUP) Spring Webinar Series sponsored by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). The webinars are open to the public and geared to health services and policy researchers and other users interested in hospital inpatient and hospital outpatient use and cost data. Space will be limited.

Overview of HCUP Databases

Wednesday, April 17th, from 2:00-3:00 PM ET.

This session will introduce health services and policy researchers to HCUP with a project overview, explain the HCUP Partnership, discuss the making of the HCUP State and Nationwide databases, and finally review how to obtain and access the data as well as other HCUP resources.

Overview of the HCUP Products and Tools

Wednesday, April 24th, from 2:00-3:00 PM ET.

This session will introduce health services and policy researchers to the HCUP products and tools, including the free online query tools HCUPnet and Fast Stats, explain how to add value to your data with HCUP Supplemental files and software, and provide an overview of our publications and associated resources.
