Public Health Law Program at NACCHO Annual
Join the Public Health Law Program (PHLP) for the following sessions at NACCHO Annual 2019: 

• The ABC’s of Administrative Law in Public Health Practice. On Tuesday, July 9, NACCHO Annual 2019 will host a preconference workshop about administrative law. Administrative law is the law of the government and extends into nearly every aspect of modern life. Many public health practice areas are, in fact, specialized fields of administrative law. In this preconference workshop, participants will be introduced to the concepts and principles included in the Public Health Law Academy’s courses on administrative law.
• Tools, Resources, and Networks to Integrate Evidence-Based Legal and Policy Strategies into Local Public Health Practice. On Wednesday, July 10, NACCHO Annual 2019 will offer a conference session about understanding law, policy, tools, and information to build public health practitioners’ capacity to integrate evidence-based legal and policy strategies into local public health efforts.
