Today, Acting U.S. Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Ned Sharpless, M.D., visited the FDA’s Forensic Chemistry Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, to highlight the work being done by the agency’s staff to investigate the incidents of lung illnesses following vaping product use. The Forensic Chemistry Center serves as the FDA’s premier national forensic laboratory for method development, research, and analyses related to criminal and regulatory investigations.
