The speaker in this one-hour seminar presents a series of web-based visualization platforms for use in infectious disease outbreaks, developed in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). These tools help quickly identify areas where additional support for outbreak preparedness and response may be needed. After being cross-referenced with healthcare system and medical countermeasure availability, the results provide early warning on national trends in illness.
