Staff Clinician


NIAID’s Laboratory of Allergic Diseases (LAD) seeks an enthusiastic and highly motivated clinician scientist to serve as a staff clinician in clinical and translational research within the field of allergy and immunology. As a staff clinician, you will provide direct clinical care to patients enrolled in LAD clinical protocols at the NIH Clinical Center and outpatient clinics and aid in the development, implementation, performance, and management of clinical research protocols studying allergic and immunodeficiency diseases in adults and children.
The successful applicant must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D.; be board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology (ABAI); hold a permanent, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States; and meet the requirements to be credentialed at the NIH Clinical Center. The ideal applicant should also have a strong background and interest in clinical research.
