A year after the Ebola outbreak was declared in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, this five-page advisory recommends that hospitals and health systems be aware of the situation and be prepared to take appropriate actions in the case that a person infected with the Ebola virus presents to a healthcare facility in the U.S. It details how hospitals, health systems, and clinicians should take steps to prepare, including reviewing the plans and protocols that were put into place by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention during the 2014-2015 Ebola outbreak.
