“20/20 - What’s in Sight”

August 10 – 12, 2020

Atlanta, Georgia

Submission deadline Thursday, February 13, 2020

As we charge into the new decade, it will be important to reflect on lessons learned from the past – especially those that give us foresight. The next 10 years in health communication, marketing and media will bring both challenges and opportunities. Those of us in these fields need solid information to help us embrace new ways to reach our audiences, new ways to use technology, and new ideas to help us keep pace with the times.

To meet these needs, we are looking for stellar presentations that will help us learn “What’s in Sight.”

The National Conference on Health Communication, Marketing, and Media brings together individuals representing academia, public health researchers and practitioners from federal and state government and the private sector, providing a forum for collegial dialogue within and across these disciplines. This conference is an excellent opportunity to meet with colleagues and shape the future of health communication, marketing, and media practice.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Public Health Information Coalition (NPHIC) invite abstracts for both oral and poster presentations in addition to panel sessions focusing on the following:

• health communication
• social marketing
• media
• partnerships
• public health policy communication
• other topic areas related to the multi-disciplinary nature of this conference.

A wide diversity of submissions is encouraged, addressing specific issues and approaches that range from research and evaluation, and theory/model development to practice/program-based foci.

Information about the conference tracks and abstract submission guidelines is available on our website. Sign up to receive email updates about the conference while you’re there.
