Open Payments Registration is Available
The Open Payments system is now available for registration! Reporting entities are currently submitting Program Year 2019 data. In order to participate in upcoming Open Payments program activities such as review and dispute, physicians and teaching hospitals must be registered in the Open Payments system. If physicians and teaching hospitals registered last year, they do not need to register again.
If it has been over 180 days since a physician or teaching hospital has logged onto the Enterprise Identity Management System (EIDM), the account has been deactivated for security purposes. To reactivate an account, call the Open Payments Help Desk at 1-855-326-8366.
The review and dispute period is targeted to begin in April 2020. Program information and resources are located at: https://www.cms.gov/
