AHRQ Director to Speak at National Academy of Medicine Patient Safety Symposium on December 10
AHRQ Director Richard Kronick, Ph.D., will join a distinguished panel of speakers at the Richard and Hinda Rosenthal Symposium on December 10 in Washington, D.C. The event marks the 15th anniversaries of the landmark Institute of Medicine reports To Err Is Human: Building a Safer Health System and Crossing the Quality Chasm: A New Health System for the 21st Century. The full-day event will examine future priorities and directions for reducing medical errors and improving quality and efficiency of the U.S. health care system. This event is free and open to the public. A live webcast will be available starting at 8:15 a.m. on December 10. Preregistration required for those attending in person.
