  • AHRQ Announces Grant Opportunities To Address Opioid Abuse Disorder in Rural Areas: Increasing Access to Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) in Rural Primary Care Practices
    This initiative will fund demonstration research (R18) projects that implement Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder in primary care practices in rural areas of the United States. While expanding access to this evidence-based therapy in underserved communities, this initiative will discover and test solutions to overcoming known barriers to implementation of MAT in primary care and create training and implementation resources to support future efforts to expand access to MAT.

  • New QualityTool: 2015 National Quality Strategy (NQS) Annual Progress Reporthttps://innovations.ahrq.gov/qualitytools/2015-national-quality-strategy-annual-progress-report The 2015 Annual Progress Report demonstrates progress in health care process, outcome, and access measures that track improvements related to the six NQS priorities. Measures highlighted in the report are drawn from the 2014 National Healthcare Quality and Disparities Report, an AHRQ publication that documents findings on health care quality, access, and disparities.
