42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA: Sharing Behavioral Health Information in Compliance With the Law

The American Bar Association Health Law Section and SAMHSA are pleased to present an online course about the importance of sharing behavioral health information in compliance with the law. The content of this course is based on a review of existing laws, regulations, and updated sub-regulatory guidance from the HHS Office for Civil Rights and SAMHSA. This course will elaborate on those materials and address the impact of privacy laws, specifically 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA, on the practice of health law.
