CDC’s MMWR and Medscape are proud to introduce a new FREE continuing education (CE) activity that updates clinicians on the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) influenza vaccination recommendations for the 2018-2019 season. 

During the fall season, it’s time to really start encouraging annual flu vaccination to your patients. Learn more and earn free CE with this training from CDC’s MMWR and Medscape.

This activity is intended for healthcare personnel involved in influenza vaccination.
Upon completion of this activity, participants will
  1. Describe the composition of various influenza vaccines for the 2018-2019 season, according to updated ACIP guidelines
  2. Determine updated recommendations for clinicians for the use of quadrivalent live attenuated influenza vaccine, according to updated ACIP guidelines
  3. Explain updated information on recent licensures and labeling changes for various influenza vaccines for the 2018-2019 season, according to updated ACIP guidelines
