Opportunities and Resources

NIAID seeks studies that address diverse scientific areas such as pathogenesis, host response, disease transmission, natural history and environmental factors contributing to disease, vaccines, diagnostics, and therapeutics.
Apply for funds to develop rapid, sensitive, specific, simple, and cost-effective diagnostics for primary healthcare settings such as hospitals and point-of-care facilities.
NIAID will support research projects proposing early-phase translational research to generate new malaria vaccine candidates suitable for further downstream development and clinical evaluation.
